DGS Group, a manufacturer of grilled cold cuts, rotisserie products and fresh steak tartare, has completed the acquisition of Voskuilen Vleeswaren, a leading player specialising in the production of artisanal meatballs and smoked sausage. The merged company will provide an even wider range of artisanal meat products. DGS Group entered into a partnership with Rabobank’s investment arm Rabo Capital in 2013 and it is partly through the latter’s backing that it is now able to complete this acquisition. Voskuilen – whose family of companies also includes Dutch Grill Specialities and The Filet Company – will continue to operate under its own name as part of DGS Group following the acquisition.
